Okay, I know you've been waiting patiently all week for some shoe porn, so here it is...a triple-shot because I couldn't make up my mind which colour I liked best.

These Christian Louboutin Splash Fur platforms (Fall 2011) are way out of my price range, but I think with a little ingeniuty you could easily do a DIY version of these slingbacks.

I love them because they look like a shoe with a wicked mohawk. I just might try to duplicate these myself.

To make up for a missed post yesterday I humbly offer you the Donna Karan gold platform as the Shoe Porn of the Day.

These golden-dipped wood platforms with slinky ankle straps just ooze Studio 54. I'd feel like Bianca Jagger with these sandals. Seriously amazing shoes with a seriously sky-high pricetag. 

 

And why am I just noticing now that DK has a fab shoe collection? I have a vintage DKNY fringe purse that I love to death, so it`s not like I`m not familiar with her work.

My shoe whisperer senses must be off. ;)

Yes, I know YSL tribute sandals are old news.

They've been around for years, but each new seaon brings a bevy of new colours that always sell out. You could call tribs a classic platform sandal.

Something about the warm air has got me swooning over these red ones once again. They're a sold out colour, of course - but a girl can dream, right?
